SUPERNATURAL NEEDS LED ZEPPELIN GOD DAMN IT DEAN NEEDS HIS SCENE. HE NEEDS TO BE FIGHTING MONSTERS AND REVELING IN GENERAL BADASSERY WHILST ZEPPELIN RAGES ON AND AS THE CAMERA ANGLES UP FROM HIS FEET WHERE THE LAST BAD GUY HAS FALLEN IT SLOWLY REVEALS UP TO HIS FACE AND HE JUST SMIRKS AT THE CAMERA BECAUSE ZEP HIS ZEP IS PLAYING AND FUCK THAT FOURTH WALL TEAR THAT SHIT DOWN
I listen to the same five albums over and over and over again, a-and I sing along. I’m annoying, I know that.
He’s a badass, though. I thought I was tough when I was thirteen, but Dean would have kicked my ass six ways to Sunday. -John Winchester, March 30th, 1992

The Men of Letters?
Dean is so proud of this.
It makes me a little sad, to be honest. Because it’s like he’s just so happy that being a hunter isn’t all he is. His dad wasn’t only a militant jerk who made Dean draw the short stick on purpose (as much as Dean has forgiven John, we still know how hurt he is by his childhood, or lack of one). His dad was part of a legacy. Dean is part of a legacy. Sam is part of a legacy. They really are the good guys. And Dean is just so happy about it. The happiest he’s been in a while.
But like everything they do; it gets overlooked. No one knows. No one is there to congratulate them for all that they’ve done. Dean is proud of his heritage and wants people to know and to recognize it… but no one does.
Now you made me even more sad.
“No chick flick moments, okay?”
